Saturday Night March 7th was the Turkey Banquet in Nephi. Dan has been involved in it for several years now. He has been the MC for two years and next weekend he will MC the Provo banquet for the second year in a row. He loves doing it. His mission companion and good friend Chris Snell and his family come down every year. Snell does Vortex Optics (Binoculars, Spotting Scope, Ect. So if you need anything call us we can hook you up. Zeak was the first winner of the night He got a t-shirt that fits Jake and a soccer ball which Jake will use more than Zeak. Jake got a yo-yo and was very sad. Then the adult drawings came and Jake won a ton, Video, hat, night light, and a car cleaning kit. He is cleaning my car first, Dan's truck, and then Grandma Marylou. Can't wait. The soccer ball was a great snag since it kept the little ones entertained most of the night. We (Becky Snell) just had to stand guard of the prints behind them.
Even though I can think of a 100 other things I would rather do it wasn't a bad night all in all. Dan did do a good job at keeping things going and making sure it was a fun night had by all. He does have a love for people and is always wanting everyone to have as much fun as he has.
