Red Cliffs

What better way to spend time then out enjoying the beauty of the Red Cliffs.   Jeff and Kathryn joined us and we were grateful for that.   The kids loved being out in the sun, water, and sand.   The adults needed it as much as the kids.  There is something about the red and green that just makes everything feel better.    It creates the same excitement and joy that the red and green of Christmas brings.   It felt good to be out of the house and doing something physical for a change.
My kids loved being in they're swimming suits especially Kaci.  She needs to live in St George.   She hates the cold and snow.  Although she wouldn't get in the water either.   After we crossed the rock so that everyone could play in the water Kaci was scared and needed Uncle Lance for a few minuets.  It was really sweet.

Kayla, Dan, Hailey, Brett, & Jeff Uncle all jumped of the cliffs.   Kayla by far had the best form.

This is the rock that everyone walks on to get to the water.   I have to be honest it made me a lot nervous to watch all the dads carrying the little ones on their shoulders across.    I am just sooooooo grateful they were there to do it and that I didn't have to.   I am not that confident.    There is a rope  and holes for your feet and hands which makes it a lot easier.   I was amazed at all of the people pregnant ladies, young kids, and older people having no fear and going across.
Mother Nature makes the best slides.
On our way home we got a flat tire.  Dan and I were visiting and I think Dan was on the cell phone when we heard a noise and Zeak and Kayla said we have been trying to tell you that we heard the tire pop a while ago.  The funny part was that it right in front of a tire store the only problem with this was it was at 7:20PM  so we put the donut on and then had to wait until Sunday to get it fixed.   Sunday morning Dan tried getting it fixed but nothing opened until noon so we got ready and went to church with Shannon and Lance and then we went to the Draper temple dedication with them.  Zeak and Kayla were old enough to attend and hopefully they understood and listened.    What a great weekend!  We are grateful for family who is so willing to let us come and get a little R&R in their company.  It was fun to be with everyone.
