She's Got It

A few weeks ago Kaci was bugging me to get some vinyl polka dots and flowers in her room so we did along with her name on her mirror.   Last weekend while the boys were Elk Hunting Kaci and I went to Toole and attended the Parade of Homes with my mom and sister.  This is something I love to do and use to never miss.   It has been a very long time since attended a Parade of Homes.   This was Kaci's favorite room and as you can see her taste is right in style.  She was so excited mom look it is pink and my flowers are like hers.  Now we just need the little table and chair set for her room.   (SANTA PLEASE)   Kaci really enjoyed the Parade of Homes to she liked looking at the houses with us.   It is fun to have a daughter to go do girl things with while the boys are out doing boy things.   The boys finally had a minute to share their hunting experience with me.   They got to ride out 4 miles in the dark on horses.   Jake kept telling Dan, "I can't see Dad,  Dad I can't see anything"   Dan always is prepared and had flashlights and head lamps but he said it was really dark.  So in trying to figure out how to best comfort his 6 year old son in a scary situation he said the thought came to him tell Jake to "Trust in the Horse he can see!"   After that he relaxed and rode out in the dark for 4 miles back to the truck.   So last night Dan told the boys to always remember that experience and that life is like that as well and if we change that thought to "Trust in the Lord he knows!"   What a fun weekend for all of us.
